PROGRAMS

The Party Renewal Program (PREPA) of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) targeted the people responsible of training within political parties in Latin America, with the objective of promoting an excange on party modernization and reform, the design of new training curriculums for internal democracy, transparency and outreach as well as implement new work methodologies.

During seven months, participants worked to renew a specific area or their political parties. PREPA began with a workshop in which participants share ideas and new training techniques related with internal democracy, transparency and outreach within the party. During the seven months following the workshop, participants implemented their projects with personalized technical assistance from international experts.
